“It is finished.” Three powerful words that changed everything. When Jesus spoke those words on the cross, He wasn’t giving up, He was declaring that the work was complete. For so many of us, we’re still living like there’s something left to prove, something left to earn, or something we have to fix on our own. We carry guilt, shame, fear, and pressure, trying to hold it all together. But the truth is, what He did on that cross was enough. Your salvation is finished. Your healing has already been paid for. Your freedom has already been secured. That doesn’t mean life won’t come with challenges, it just means you’re not fighting from a place of defeat anymore. You’re standing in victory.

I’ve been in that place where I felt like I had to figure everything out myself, where I was running on empty trying to make things work, trying to be enough. And honestly, it’s exhausting. But when I truly understood what “It is finished” meant, something shifted in me. I stopped striving so hard and started trusting. I stopped carrying things I was never meant to carry. I stopped questioning my worth and began to walk in the confidence of who I already am. There is such a freedom that comes when you realize you don’t have to earn what’s already been given to you.

“It is finished” is an invitation to live differently. It’s an invitation to rest, to trust, and to release the weight you’ve been holding onto. You don’t have to prove your value anymore, it’s already been established. You don’t have to chase peace, you just need to receive it. You don’t have to stay stuck, or in fear, freedom is already yours.

The question is, will you step into it? Today, I want to encourage you to let go of whatever you’ve been trying to fix in your own strength. Lay it down, trust Him, and start walking forward knowing the work has already been done. Because of that, you can live lighter, freer, and more confident than ever before.

Cheering you on to your victory as you walk in what Christ already did for you.
