“I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;”
Psalm 139:14 (AMP)

God has made you and formed you beautifully.  As women in today’s world it has become much harder to not fall into the “comparison” and “competition” game.  We judge and compare ourselves to false idols and unrealistic made up images leaving us feel unworthy and less than the rest.

Who are you comparing yourself to?  Are you judging yourself and comparing yourself to famous celebrities that are for the most part “made up” and only seen at their best?  Are you comparing you and your life to what you see “posted” on social media?  In your mind are you competing with other women in your circles, or those “you” esteem better than yourself?

We have got to stop comparing ourselves and our lives with what we see and hear in the natural and begin to focus on how God sees us.  The ONLY one we should be trying to measure up to is the King of Kings.

“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].  Ephesians 2:10 (AMP)

It doesn’t matter what you or I think, or anyone else!  God created YOU for a purpose that is bigger than yourself!  When I was out in Knoxville, Tennessee,  I went into a little clothing shop and on the mirror was written “you are beautiful!”.  I stood there and pondered that because I don’t always see that in myself when I look in the mirror, or when I am in my quiet time seeking God and evaluating my days.  God spoke so clear to me and said, “I make ALL my children beautiful!!!”

He has formed you for a specific, unique and defined purpose that only you can fill.  Today, I encourage you to get into your quite place and allow the Father to reveal to you just how much He loves you and how “He” sees you today.   You will be amazed to find you are  beautiful in His eyes.
