“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” ~Ephesians 6:16-18
Have you noticed a change in our society? Is there a shift in your children or people in general? I have noticed it creeping in over the years, but it seems as though it has taken an exponential curve. This seems more apparent since the pandemic. The enemy is hard at work and has used the events of the past few years in many ways to try to destroy God’s people. Many have fallen into unbelief, deep depression, anxiety or stress. I was unfortunately one of those hit hard during Covid. It was so severe that it almost destroyed me. I was unable to function for months. My days were full of stress and anxiety. Thank God for His mercy and faithfulness to bring me out. If you are being attacked right now in your health, your finances, your hope, or your circumstances, God will bring you out!
I have also noticed a great falling away from intimate time with the Lord and the Church at large. Gross sin and darkness has invaded our Nation. You and I must fight to keep the faith daily and seek Him diligently in these last days. “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” ~Matthew 5:13
The Word tells us in Joshua to be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed because God is with you! It is time for the Church, the called out ones, to rise up and stand strong in the Lord. It is time to stand against the wiles of the enemy. We have to shine light in the darkness and to prove what is right in the sight of the Lord. There are many people who are lost and hurting right now. We must be strong in this hour to help others who have been led astray and lift up the hands that hang down. (Hebrews 12). Let’s take every moment we can to shine His light, and be a beacon of hope for others.
