“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”  ~ Genesis 8:22

I always enjoy it when the season changes.  There is a sense of new beginnings and a fresh start that invigorates my spirit.  This is especially true when the winter is coming to an end and Spring is near.  I find it so interesting that God chose this time for the resurrection of Christ to occur.  A time when we witness resurrection all around us.  Flowers begin to bloom again.  The hardened ground becomes fertile and new growth sprouts up everywhere.

If you had a hard and cold winter physically, spiritually, financially and/or emotionally, rejoice!  Your springtime is coming!  His resurrection power is still alive today and you are about to experience new growth.  His Word promises there would be seedtime and harvest.  You have planted, and watered and have shed tears while weathering the storms and God is about to bring you the harvest.

Jesus was scorned, beaten, ridiculed.  Even the devil himself thought he was winning the battle.  Maybe those around you have lost hope in you, have made a mockery of you, insulted you, harmed you, and walked away from you.  I know, it hurts.  It can make you down right angry.  But Jesus did not allow the bitterness and anger to overtake Him.  He kept His eyes on the promise, and knew Sunday was coming.  He was going to be back in paradise with the Father.

David, in Psalms 23:4-5 said, “yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”  No matter what you have been through, God is on your side.  He is going to prepare a table for you and anoint you with His glory and cause your cup to run over.

Allow your faith to come alive this season and rejoice in His resurrection power.  It’s your SpringTime.

Until Next Time, Remember
