“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be

perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”  ~James 1:2-4

When your faith is under attack you must pull down the stronghold of unbelief.  Satan will always take that one thing that didn’t work out according to the way you thought it was going to be or the way that you wanted it to be.  Maybe that one thing failed for a reason.  Maybe you were put into the pit so that you would get to the palace.

The enemy is very deceitful and will use half truths to convince you of things that are not true. He will use whatever he can, including trying to use that ONE thing to cause you to temporarily forget all the many supernatural miracles and blessings that God DID do.

Don’t let the enemy steal your faith!  There are two major things that can help you keep your faith.  The first is the Word of God.  “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing the Word of God”.  ~ Romans 10:17  Get yourself full of the Word of God.  Read it outloud to yourself. Put on your favorite Christian Podcast.  Don’t miss weekly Church services and keep yourself full of the Word of God and meditate on it.  When the devil came to test Jesus while fasting in the desert, Jesus himself used the Word of God to combat the lies of the enemy.  When your faith is tested, speak the Word of God and what He has promised you.  Do not give in to the temptation to feel sorry for yourself, or speak defeat.  Trust what God says.

Secondly, make sure you are surrounded by people “of faith”. You will not have strong faith around naysayers.  You need your people.  People who believe in the power of God and that believe in you.  They will fight with you in prayer and speak the truth to your spirit even if you don’t like it.  I was reading something that my business coach had sent me that ties right in with this.  The article was talking about Transactional analysis, which basically states that a human is a multifaceted being, one that changes when they come in contact with another person.  This is so true.  Faith begets faith.  When you surround yourself with “faith people”, you get faith.

In your testing, keep yourself surrounded by faith, stand on the Word of God and allow your faith to prosper.  Your miracle IS on its way!
