What is your vision, your hopes, your desires, your goals and your dreams for 2022?
So many times, we get stuck in our daily routines and miss what God has for us.  He has great and big plans for you and wants to give you the desires of your heart.  God put those desires in your heart when He formed you, so of course He wants to see them fulfilled.

We hear it from many sources, this is the year, 2022 is your time, God is going to do great things in 2022.  And yes, and amen!  If we prepare for it.  God will not give us anything that we are not ready for.  You hear people say it often, God will not give you more than you are able to bare.  I think that goes for the blessings as well.  We need to be ready and be prepared for the goodness of God to flow into our lives.

Delight yourself in the Lord, and He shall give thee the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

If we delight ourselves in him, put him first, seek his presence, spend time with him, find out what his heart, mind and thoughts are, he will lead us to those desires being fulfilled.  But we must follow and obey him to see those things accomplished.

Are you ready?  Are you ready for God to lead you to your desires?  Are you ready to allow God to direct your steps?  Are you ready and willing to do whatever it takes to see the manifestation of your dreams and desires?

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. [2] And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”  Habakkuk 2:2

Write the vision, the dream, the desire that God has put on your heart on paper!  Write it on your phone, on your laptop.  Write it on your vision board…just write down your visions, dreams, hopes, desires.  Then RUN WITH IT!

Just one example of being ready was when I was complaining about all the weight I put on, my covid belly, for months!    One morning while I was in prayer, I began to meditate on what it was really going to take for me to get all this weight off.  After pondering it, I simply began to ask God for the strength and the determination that I needed in order to take the first steps in getting the weight off.  You see, God is willing to give us what we need, but we are going to have to take action.  Are you ready and willing to do whatever is necessary to see your vision, your dream fulfilled?

For me, I love junk food especially at night.   I knew I needed to purge my cupboards and remove all junk food and begin to make a plan.  I started to list out all the food I was going to need, went on Instacart and ordered the items I needed. Then I took one day per week, and I prepared my meals in advance.  I weighed out the foods for each day, purchased a big 64 oz drinking bottle and filled it up each morning with water to make sure I was getting the proper amount, etc.   It took time, effort, strategies, and work.  I had to prepare for my desire.  Once I began to take action and prepare for it, God gave me the strength to see it through.  Without him, I could not have done it, but with God, all things are possible!  When he sees us walking in faith, preparing and doing the things we can, he comes through and does the rest.  I cannot tell you how many times I have seen the Lord do this in my life.  Every time I have a need, a desire, a dream and I begin to prepare myself for it, I see God come through and move mountains.

How much time over the holiday’s did you spend preparing for dinners, parties, and/or gift exchanges?  How much thought?  How many lists? How many hours were devoted to preparing for those days?  I know I spent many hours, days and probably weeks.

Are you ready to prepare yourself for your miracle?  Are you ready to prepare yourself, your atmosphere, the things that need to be done in order to obtain your desire?  Sometimes we need to let go of things.  Maybe just spending less time on social media, watching tv, binge watching Netflix or playing video games and spend a little more time seeking God and preparing ourselves for our miracle. I have had to limit my time on many of those things.  Pray and seek God’s direction.  He will show you things you will need to do in order to see your miracle happen.

God is always ready.  Let’s take January 2022 and begin to prepare ourselves and do whatever we can to prepare for the blessings and the vision God has given to us.

Happy New Year!
